Post OnceRepost to X
Post Once posts each new video and up to 4 photos to X. Your caption is shortened to X's 280-character limit, ending with "…", and links are removed from it. X takes short vertical or square videos only.

What X gets
- Videos: short vertical or square videos up to 3 minutes. Longer or landscape videos are skipped with “X only takes short vertical videos”.
- Photos: up to 4 per post. A longer carousel posts its first four.
- Not Stories.
Caption
X allows 280 characters. Post Once:
- removes links from your caption, including bare domains such as example.com,
- shortens what is left to 280 characters, counted the way X counts them, and ends it with “…” when it had to cut.
The full caption still goes to your other destinations.
Daily limit
Post Once sends at most 50 posts per X account per day. Extra posts wait and go out once the limit resets.
Frequently asked questions
Why are links removed from my posts on X?
Post Once leaves links out of the text it posts to X, bare domains like example.com included, which also leaves more of the 280 characters for your words. Your other destinations still get the full caption with its links.
Do emoji count as one character?
On X, emoji and Chinese, Japanese or Korean characters count as two. Post Once counts them the same way when it shortens your caption.
My carousel had 8 photos. Why did X get 4?
X allows up to 4 photos per post, so Post Once posts the first four.
