How it works
- Connect the account you already post on. This is your source account.
- Pick the accounts Post Once should repost to, and where to back up.
- Keep posting on your source account as usual. Post Once reposts each new post with its caption and saves a copy to your storage.
What it works with
- Source accounts
- Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Threads and X
- Reposts to
- YouTube, Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads, X and LinkedIn
- Backs up to
- Google Drive, Dropbox, Backblaze B2, and Amazon S3 or any S3-compatible storage
- Post types
- Videos and Reels, photos and carousels, text posts from X, Threads and Facebook Pages, Stories from Instagram and Facebook, and Instagram trial reels when switched on
- Long videos
- Videos up to 2 hours and 4K. Videos over 3 minutes, or horizontal ones, go to YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn, which take long videos.
Failed and repeat posts
- Failed reposts
- A repost that fails is tried again automatically, up to 5 times over about half an hour. If it still fails, the dashboard shows which account missed it and why, Post Once emails you (you can switch that email off), and Retry sends it again to just the accounts it missed.
- Connections
- Connections that can renew themselves are renewed before they expire. For the rest, like LinkedIn, you get an email 5 days before they need reconnecting, and Post Once emails you whenever an account loses access and needs reconnecting.
- Repeat posts
- A new post whose video or photo matches one from the last 30 days is held on the accounts that already have the earlier one, and Post Once asks you first on the dashboard and by email. Post anyway sends it, Skip leaves it off, and with no answer in 3 days it is skipped there. Other accounts get it as normal.

How it differs from scheduling apps
- A scheduling app like Buffer, Later or Hootsuite publishes your post to every account through its API, your main account included. With Post Once you post on your main account yourself, in its own app, and only the reposts go out through Post Once.
- Your main post keeps what only the native app gives it: trending audio, in-app effects and templates.
- There is nothing to upload twice and no caption to copy. You set it up once.
- Every post is also saved to cloud storage you own.
What it does not do
- It is not a scheduler. You do not write, upload or schedule posts in Post Once.
- It does not add a watermark, on any plan.
