# Repost to Threads

## Connect Threads

1. Pick **Threads** under **Where else should it land?** when you sign up, or press **Connect** next to Threads on the Bridge page.
2. Sign in on the Threads page that opens and allow access.
3. You come back to Post Once.

## What Threads gets

- **Videos**: short vertical or square videos up to 3 minutes. Longer or landscape videos are skipped with "Threads only takes short vertical videos".
- **Photos.**
- **Carousels**, up to 20 photos per post.
- **Not Stories.**

## Caption

Threads posts hold 500 characters. Captions longer than that are cut at 500, so put what matters first.

## Daily limit

Post Once sends at most 250 posts per Threads account per day.

### My caption was cut off on Threads. Why?

Threads allows 500 characters. Post Once keeps the first 500 characters of a longer caption, and the cut can land mid-word. Keep the important part at the start of your caption.

### Does my Threads account need to be public or professional?
