# The free plan and free reposts

> Every Post Once account gets 10 free reposts and 10 free backups, with every feature, no card and no watermark. They never reset. A repost is one of your posts sent to all your destinations, and it only counts once it posts somewhere. When they run out, new posts still show up but are not sent until you upgrade.

## What you get for free

- **10 reposts.** One repost is one post from your source account, sent to all your destinations. It counts the first time any destination posts it. Posting by hand with **Post now** or **Post later** counts the same way.
- **10 backups.** One backup is one post saved to your storage, however many backup services it goes to. Free backups are counted separately from free reposts.
- **1 bridge**, so one source account, with as many destinations as you like.

No card is needed, and there is no watermark or delay.

## When you are running low

At 2 reposts left, the dashboard shows "2 free reposts left" with **See plans**, and you get an email. At zero it reads "You have used your 10 free reposts" with **Upgrade**, and you get another email.

## After they run out

Post Once keeps watching your account. New posts still appear under **Your posts**, marked **Not posted · Out of free reposts**, with an **Upgrade** link. Nothing goes out in a sudden burst later.

Backups keep saving while you have free backups left. When those run out, new posts skip your backups with "Free backups used up. Studio and above back up every post".

## Upgrade and send the waiting posts

1. Press **Upgrade** in the top bar, or open **Billing** from the menu under your avatar.
2. Pick a plan and pay through Stripe. See [change or cancel your plan](https://postonce.com/help/change-or-cancel-your-plan).
3. Back on the dashboard, the waiting posts show **Post now** or **Post to**. Send the ones you want.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do the free reposts reset every month?

No. You get 10 in total, once, so you can watch Post Once work on your own posts before you pay.

### If one post goes to five accounts, is that five reposts?

No. It is one repost, however many accounts it goes to.

### Does a failed post use a free repost?

No. A repost only counts once at least one destination has it.

### Is there a watermark or delay on the free plan?

No. Free reposts are the same as paid ones.
